Lövsta Stud has given Malin Baryard-Johnsson the ride on their 9-year-old stallion El Barone 111 Z (Emerald van't Ruytershof x Libero H). The Swedish stud acquired El Barone 111 Z in 2019, but the stallion remained in Belgium and was competed by Rachel Steffens before Pieter Kenis took over the reins at the beginning of 2020. El Barone 111 has already been placed at CSI2* Grand Prix level.
"I am extremely happy to be able to work with such a promising super talent and I look bright on our future together," says Malin Baryard-Johnsson in a press release from Lövsta Stud.
El Barone 111 Z is already sought-after by the breeders. “It is fantastic that El Barone 111 is so popular in the most influential countries in the international top sport. He has covered around 500 mares both this year and last year in Europe. We look forward to seeing Malin compete and ride him in the big arenas," says Malin Cohlin, station manager at Lövsta, in the press release.
