Italy's Gianluca Apolloni and the 9-year-old mare High Tea (Cento x Landos) won this weekend's CSIO3* 1.60m FEI Jumping World Cup™ presented by Zahara Consult in Bojourishte, Bulgaria.
None of the 32 horse-and-rider combinations in the class managed to stay on a clean sheet, but Apolloni added only a single time-fault to his score which was good enough for the win. With two time faults and in second place, followed Romania's Ionut Ursache and Veni Vidi Vici (Valentino x Contendro I) while Italy's Paolo Paini ended third after a four-fault round with Chaccolie (Chacco-Blue x Cellestial). Greece's Angelos Touloupis ended fourth with Blue Balou 5 (Balou du Rouet x Böckmann's Cordalme Z) and Hungary's Gábor Szabó Jr. fifth with Chabal (Chacco-Blue x Balou du Rouet) – both on a score of four faults.
