Haras de Hus and Elevage de Kreisker are jointly presenting an Online Auction with 35 lots. There are 18 foals, 15 sexed embryos and 2 broodmares in foal.

These two major players in French breeding have been working together for fifteen years, but this is the first time that they have decided to join their forces for an auction. Founded in 2005, Haras de Hus quickly established as a major player at international level, both in dressage, where it allowed Jessica Michel-Botton to represent France at the Olympic Games, and in jumping, where Kevin Staut became, under Hus-colours, the World Leader for several months. Silvana de Hus, Oh d'Eole and Conrad de Hus marked the history of Haras de Hus. Today, their offspring are still very present at the stud.

In 2006, Xavier Marie, owner of Haras de Hus, acquired 50% of Elevage de Kreisker in the Finistère-region. A symbol of French breeding in Brittany, the stud is managed by Guillaume Ansquer who succeeded his father in 1992. He inherits with the stud Danaé and Betty de Kreisker. But the Breton continues to invest in new, always top-of-the-range bloodlines aimed at satisfying an ever-growing clientele. It is no coincidence that after the title of French Champion 7-year-olds of Jumpy de Kreisker, other horses emerged like Nifrane de Kreisker but also Quisling de Kreisker (alias Quisling Predreira Joter). One more thing in common with the Petit Mars-stud, which never ceases to invest in the best of European genetics.

"Life at Haras de Hus is sometimes far from relaxing but we have always remained true to our goals and this second place in the Hippomundo Ranking is the reward for our efforts. Since the foundation of the stud, I have always marked my desire to build a sustainable structure and we have always been present in various auctions throughout Europe. Today, considering the quality and variety of our bloodlines, I thought it was time for us to create our own auction and the possibility of working together with my partner of Elevage de Kreisker, Guillaume Ansquer, only strengthened this project," explains Xavier Marie.

Two entities with very different history but with shared ambitions: Breeding modern horses for the great sport of tomorrow. In sixteen years, Haras de Hus has built a quality stud which is today internationally recognized, becoming the second stud in the world in terms of results according to the Hippomundo Ranking. With a lengthy history of 50 years, the Elevage de Kreisker stayed for several months on top of the WBFSH Ranking for the Best Showjumping Horse thanks to Quickly de Kreisker.

During these fifteen years of cooperation, the two entities have often been major players at European auctions. This year, it is together that they have decided to present their best offspring and embryos to be born next year... and even two foals to be born in just a few weeks.

“Looking at the quality of the bloodlines we have, we decided that it was important after 15 years of collaboration to seal our union with an exceptional auction full of exclusivities. We decided to offer our best products here, including several fillies from our best bloodlines: Betty’s as well as Quickly's. Like Haras de Hus, we have always invested in new bloodlines. This is what allows us today to be able to offer an unborn foal from Conthargos with the only sister of Martin Fuchs' champion, Clooney 51, or an embryo sexed female from Baloubet du Rouet with the sister of the phenomenon Cornet Obolensky,” explains Guillaume Ansquer.

One of the characteristics of this auction is also the sexing of the embryos. Haras de Hus and Elevage de Kreisker also wanted to make a commitment to secure future buyers to guarantee the sexing and thus offer the buyers the possibility of being reimbursed for their purchase if there has been an error during sexing… and if the buyer chooses to return it.

Elevage de Kreisker offers the best of its bloodlines during this auction with two products from Team de Kreisker (Contendro I). This daughter of Briseis d'Helby, destined to take over for her dam in the stud, is a uterine sister of the Olympic Quickly de Kreisker, former number one in the WBFSH Ranking, but also of the big international winners Javelot and Kouros d'Helby. Team is present with Laziza de Kreisker (n°4) by Arezzo VDL, Lagoon de Kreisker (n°9) by Chacoon Blue and an embryo by Grandorado (n°18).

The former French 7-year-olds champion Jumpy de Kreisker is obviously very present. We find the production of her sister Shirel de Kreisker: Lolipop de Kreisker (n°2), daughter of Chaccon Blue and Litchi de Kreisker (n°21) by Mylord Carthago. We also find the offspring of her daughters with Quaresse de Kreisker who presents embryos of Heartbreaker (n°20), Comme Il Faut (n°22) and the foal Longchamp de Hus (n°1) by Heartbreaker, but also Quindy de Kreisker via Lys Royal de Kreisker (n°30) by Cornet du Lys.

Also note the foal which will be born in a few weeks by Grandorado from a uterine sister of the big winner Nifrane de Kreisker.

Silvana is well represented by her grandson Lebowski de Hus (n°24) by Big Star as well as Banda de Hus by her grandson Lawrence de Hus (n°29) by Heartbreaker. Conrad is also present with one of his future sisters by Heartbreaker (n°26) and his nephew, Elton de Hus Z (n°23) by Eldorado vh Zeshoek.

Oh d'Eole has not been left behind either. She shone during her career with all her riders and presents no less than three embryos by Baloubet du Rouet (n°3), Comme Il Faut (n°15) and Heartbreaker (n°32) but also her son Lark de Hus (n°14) by Numero Uno.

Haras de Hus has acquired exceptional broodmares over the years. This is how it can offer in this auction a future full sister to Peder Fredricson's star All In (n°6) as well as his brother, Habeas Corphus Z (n°8) by Heartbreaker. 

Bella Donna's mother is also present with two embryos, one by Baloubet du Rouet (n°16) and one by Conrad de Hus (n°28).

We will also note the presence of three products of Hera van't Roosakker who is none other than the only daughter of Ben Maher’s champion, Cella (Cento x Usha van't Roosakker), individual silver medalist at the European Championships in Herning in 2013. They are: An embryo by Baloubet du Rouet (n°13), the colt Lancer de Hus (n°27) by Baloubet du Rouet and the filly Lassa de Hus (n°33) by Kannan.

It is also difficult to ignore the presence of a colt to be born in 2022 by Baloubet du Rouet and the sister of the late phenomenon Chacco Blue (n°34).
