Edited press release from Hubside Jumping
Benoit Cernin (FRA) made it another home win at Hubside Jumping de Valence when taking the top honours in Saturday's CSI4* 1.50m Prix Hubside Store. Aboard Cookie de Vesvre (Dollar Dela Pierre x Drakkar des Hutins), Cernin stopped the clock at 61.16 seconds – as much as 2.06 seconds ahead of runner-up Marie Demonte (FRA) with Manchester (Quidam de Revel x Codex).
Just as in Friday’s biggest class, the French riders dominated and took care of the top three positions – with Megane Moissonnier (FRA) following in third together with Illusion CL (Arezzo VDL x Ukato).
John Whitaker (GBR) and Sharid (Toulon x Vancouleurs) finished fourth, followed by Julio Arias Cueva (ESP) and Tamino AZ (Tsar Hero x For Hero de Hus) in fifth place.
“This was the second 1.50m class for Cookie de Vesvre. This weekend he ended second on the first day and yesterday I had a small mistake while going a bit to fast. Today the course suited him really well,” said the happy winner.
