Longines FEI European Championships 2021

All eyes on the Swedes…. They came to Riesenbeck International as favourites for the medals, and are in the lead after the first qualifier. Here Peder Fredricson and Catch Me Not S that finished second in today’s round.

Photo © Jenny Abrahamsson for World of Showjumping. Defending European Champion Martin Fuchs jumped a fabulous clear with the only 9-year-old Leone Jei to finish 5th in the first qualifier. Only 1.31 points separate him from the leader David Will, so it's tight on top of the individual standing.

Despite the shoe being twisted, Kalinka continued her great jumping and cleared the course. The farrier stepped in, and luckily the mare was unharmed.
