Bertram Allen (IRL) and FTS Killossery Konfusion (Siec Livello x Cruising) were the best in Friday morning's 1.45m VBR-Prize at CHIO Aachen.

Out of the 24-horse-and-rider combinations in this two-phase class, ten produced double clear rounds and fastest of all against the clock was the Irish rider who crossed the finish line in 32.88 seconds. In 33.31 seconds followed Bernardo Alves (BRA) with Mosito van het Hellehof (Elvis Ter Putte x Nabab de Reve), which was good enough for the runner-up position. Third place went to Laurent Goffinet (FRA) and Absolut de Lacke (Diamant de Semilly x Parco) with a time of 33.41 seconds, while Scott Brash (GBR) on Hello Vincent (Consul de la Vie Z x Fergar Mail) finished fourth and Laura Kraut (USA) on Goldwin (Emerald x Understone van de Kapel) fifth.
