With very successful horses such as Henrik von Eckermann’s Glamour Girl, the Youngster Cup final winner of Aachen Naomi van het Keizershof and Kamara van ‘t Heike, references of the Dutch Sport Horse Sales are taking the spotlights almost every weekend. On Tuesday the 28th of September, 22 five-, six- and seven-year-old top talents will be auctioned in this prominent auction at the Peelbergen Equestrian Center.

After the auction was canceled last year for well-known reasons, the Dutch Sport Horse Sales is coming back stronger than ever this year. For the 17th edition, the Hendrix family has selected a fantastic collection together with co-selector Yves Houtackers. These horses have everything it takes to follow in the footsteps of a long line of successful references of the Dutch Sport Horse Sales.

The collection is very promising and various horses have performed well at the national championships for young showjumpers in Valkenswaard last month. Several auction horses were invited to take part in the World Championship in Lanaken, which will take place in the week prior to the Dutch Sport Horse Sales so won’t fit in the schedule. “A year of postponement definitely also brings benefits, because this has enabled us to present an excellent collection consisting of horses that have almost all been long-term trained at Stal Hendrix. Therefore we know exactly what we offer in this auction, and which horse fits which client best”, explains Paul Hendrix. “We have chosen to select horses for the international sport more than ever, which has resulted in not including four-year-olds in our collection this year and we have focused more on the older horses. Our experienced seven-year-olds can compete in 2* Grand Prixs already next year, and the young horses can also excel in the international classes in the short term.”
