Renowned for having one of the best venues, facilities, prize money, competition and hospitality, the Al Shira’aa Horse Show returns to the beautiful venue at Al Forsan Sports Resort, Abu Dhabi, on the 26th to the 29th January 2022.
The UAE winter tour starts from the 22nd December 2021 until the 19th February 2022, boasting international shows week after week from CSIYH* through to CSIO5*. The Al Shira’aa Horse Show is delighted to be hosting the show directly after CSIO5* Abu Dhabi, allowing the very best rider/horse combinations to remain in the UAE, enjoy the winter of sunshine and pick up on Longines ranking points.
The organising team at Al Shira’aa Horse Show are excited to be hosting CSI4*-W, CSI2*, CSIYH* & U25 classes over four days. The venue boasts a 5* Marriott hotel on site making it easy and accessible for athletes and is just 15 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport. All logistics from Europe can be sought through Al Sakb, the UAE’s leading logistics company for horse travel. Flights for horses will depart from Amsterdam and Great Britain with a travel journey time of just 7 hours.
In previous years, the show has seen the likes of Christian Ahlmann (GER), Michael Whitaker (GBR), William Funnell (GBR), Janika Sprunger (CH), Henrick Von Eckermann (SWE), Kristaps Neretnieks (LV), Michael Pender (IRE), Shane Breen (IRE), Abdel Said (EGY), Luciana Diniz (POR) & Jasmine Chen (TW) competing at the show.
The Al Shira’aa Horse Show, under the patronage of HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Hazza Al Nahyan, founder of Al Shira’aa Stables shares a vision of elite equestrian sport and creating a global community of the very best horses and athletes keeping the horse’s welfare at the highest level. Al Shira’aa, also known for supporting large events such as the Hickstead Derby and Bolesworth Young Horse Championships is a prolific and symbolic brand to the show jumping community throughout the globe.
