Rock ‘n’ Roll will rock your life.

Rock ‘n’ Roll is a thoroughbred-type gelding with beautiful long legs and a powerful, yet light-footed way of action. He’s been a pleasure to train and despite still being a youngster at the very outset of his career his cool confidence and the sense of security he gives his rider make him seem much more mature. Rock ‘n’ Roll is a quick learner with excellent rideability and a perfect temperament, all of which set him up to succeed later in life. At the video shoot he showcased his amazing talent and positive attitude over big fences.

Rock ‘n' Roll’s started competing at shows this year and he’s been very successful in Belgian young horse classes. He won five young horse classes for five year olds at carefully selected competitions, and qualified to compete at the Belgium Championship for Five Year Old Jumping Horses, where he proved to be completely unfazed by big ring atmosphere.

Rock ‘n’ Roll has an impressive gene mix in his pedigree that combines the bloodlines of Epleaser van ’t Heike, Grandeur and Darco.

Epleaser van ’t Heike is by world-class competition horse For Pleasure (Marcus Ehning) out of Valentina van ’t Heike (Jos Lansink), another well-known name in the show jumping world. Ridden by Christian Ahlmann, this stallion competed internationally at CSI5* level, regularly demonstrating his exceptional talent.

Grandeur was a living legend and he is still the most successful competition stallion of all time with his partner Thomas Frühmann. The two of them won classes over some of the most challenging courses in the world. After just a short stint as a breeding stallion he produced Gina Ginelli (Franke Sloothaak) and Garfield (Thomas Bartels). Darco was the incredible horse that carried his Belgian rider Ludo Philippaerts’ to victory in European Championships, World Equestrian Games and World Cup finals. They also came seventh in the individual competition at the 1992 Olympic Games. As sire to more than 3000 horses, many of which competed and are still competing at the highest levels of show jumping sport, Darco is one of the most important jumping horse sires in modern history. Famous offspring include Winningmood (Luciana Diniz), Sapphire (McLain Ward), Socrates (Edwina Tops-Alexander) and Narcotique de Muze (Eric Lamaze).

Dance into the future with Rock ‘n’ Roll.
