Sweden's Henrik von Eckermann, current world number three, and Luna vd Mespel (Hos d'O x Escudo I) won Friday's CSI4* 1.45m Prijs Equine America at Sentower Park, Belgium.
Judged as a two-phase special, the class with 56 starters counted for the Longines Ranking. With a double clear and a time of 33.62 seconds in the second phase, the Swede took home the win ahead of yesterday's winner, Belgium's own Wilm Vermeir on Linguini de la Pomme (Marius Claudius x Tinka's Boy) who this time around had to settle for the runner-up position, when the clock stopped on 34.71. Mouda Zeyada (EGY) on Katia (Emerald x Lancelot) placed third, Dieter Vermeiren (BEL) on Noblesse (I am Moerhoeve's Star x Canturano) fourth and Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA) on Harwich VDL (Arezzo VDL x Darco) fifth.
