Andreas Schou (DEN) and Granate (Baltic VDL x Indoctro) won Saturday's 1.45m Itzehoer Versicherung Championat at CSI4* Hof Waterkant in Pinneberg, Germany. A total of 50 horse-and-rider combinations took part in this two phase class, where the Dane was the fastest with a time of 27.72.
"Granate is a real friend and she would give her heart for me to jump flawlessly," the 35-year-old Schou said after his win. “I was here last year and now the show has become even nicer and better," he continued to speak about the venue at CSI4* Hof Waterkant. "What Janne and Christoph have created is something that the scene often lacks: Namely a top event for horses and riders, organized by people with horse sense. Everything is highly professional here, but still impresses with charm and a wonderful ambience. You can only congratulate them on this show."
Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) and Chalou (Chacco-Blue x Baloubet du Rouet) took the runner-up position, while Hannes Ahlmann (GER) placed third on Nerrado (Nekton x Acorado I), Maximilian Lill (GER) fourth on Dexter Bois Margot (Qlassic Bois Margot x Quaprice) and Philip Rüping (GER) fifth on Miss Chacco PS (Messenger x Chacco-Blue).
