Gregory Wathelet’s groom Sylvain Benoit looks back at the year that soon comes to an end, selecting some of his favourite shots by World of Showjumping from 2017. Here's why these two pictures made Sylvain’s list:

"The first picture I have chosen is of Coree at the prize giving after she won the Rolex Grand Prix of Aachen. Like for most people in our sport, winning the Grand Prix of Aachen was a dream come true for me and an incredible moment. Coree is an amazing mare, but also a bit special – even more so for Greg than for me, but she is always there when we need her. In the picture is also Coree's owner Judith Goeckel, and I was so happy and grateful for her as well – she is a dream-owner!"

"I chose this picture of Forlap from the Longines FEI World Cup Final in Omaha, because I want to thank this amazing horse for everything he has done for us and especially for Gregory for whom he has meant a lot. Even with his special life story, Forlap is a true champion!"
