Friday’s 1.50 speed class in Stuttgart was won by Alberto Michan Halbinger on Camilo LS La Silla (Portofino x Cor de la Bryere). The Mexican rider came in half-way in the class to take the lead, stopping the clock at 61.84 seconds.
Although it was a speed class, no one really went flat out. The class also counted as a qualifier for the German Master which was open for the twelve riders on top. Hence, many opted for a clear rather than going fast. In the end, nine of the 35 riders were faultless and were joined for the Masters by two riders on a time fault and one on four faults.
Second-best in the qualifier was yesterday’s winner Reed Kessler on Charity (Cayetano x C-Indoctro) from the US, who went through the finish line on 63.98 seconds. Third went to Sweden's Douglas Lindelöw on Casello (Casall x Carolus).
