The USA's Alessandra Volpi has withdrawn from the third and last competition at the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final 2025. With Gipsy Love (Guidam Sohn x L'Esprit), Volpi was sitting 7th on the overall standings after having jumped double clear in Friday's second competition of the World Cup™ Final where the two placed third. 

"After jumping an incredible two rounds and finishing on the podium last night, Gipsy has exceeded all expectations this week and I am excited about what the future has in store for us," Volpi wrote on social media on Saturday, explaining her withdrawal. "After a heel grab earlier in the week, she’s a bit sore this morning, and in always putting her first, we’ve decided to withdraw from Sunday’s final. She is an incredible mare, and this weekend has showed us why she is so special. She is happy and healthy with our team in the barn and I’m so proud of her amazing effort in Basel. A huge thank you to my team, everyone at @usequestrian, and those near and far who have supported us."
