A challenging course awaited horses and riders in the Diamond Tour at the international show- jumping event J&T Banka CSI3*W Olomouc Saturday as only four combinations managed to clear the 1.50 course.
In the jump-off Thomas Holz and Chattanooga (Cornet Obolensky x Pilot) from Germany were the only combination to keep a clear score and could take home well deserved win. “Unlike yesterday when I had two knock-downs in Diamond Tour with Carolin, today I rode my number one horse Chattanooga. I am very pleased that we managed to clear the first round as well as the jump-off with no penalty points and that we placed first. Olaf Petersen ́s courses are demanding just as they are supposed to be at this level. But today we did really well and I am very happy,“ said the winner. “This is the first time I am here, but definitely not the last.“
Second place in Saturday ́s Diamond Tour went to Slovak Radovan Šillo and Chieano (Chellano Z x Voltaire) with Adrian Schmid from Switzerland in third riding Camilla IX (Cornet Obolensky x Pilot). Both riders on four faults in the jump-off. The last participant in the jump-off was Dutch rider Rogier Linssen with Cupidor. The combination choose to retire during the jump-off as the more than one pole fell to the ground.
