Press release from Live Oak International
Chloe Reid aboard Souper Shuttle (Stakkato x La Zarras 2) took home the win on Friday with a fast time of 63.23 in the $36,600 Live Oak International CSI3* Longines World Ranking Table A speed class at the 30th Live Oak International in Ocala, Florida. Winning the opening $10,000 Waldron Private Wealth 1.40 Power and Speed (Table A) was Jonathan Corrigan riding his 12-year-old Super Chilled with a time of 32.03.
“Souper Shuttle felt amazing today and I knew this was going to be a great course for her after I walked it” said Chloe Reid. “I had the plan to ride both of my horses in both classes here at Live Oak and I wanted to go for it in the $10,000 Waldron Private Wealth 1.40 Power and Speed (Table A) but also wanted to set up for the weekend ahead. I’m very happy with how today unfolded.”
Second was Nicky Galligan from Ireland aboard Javas Miss Jordan (Luidam x Obos Quality 004) with a time of 65.28. “Today was about getting in the ring and my horse is naturally fast and jumping consistent. I was looking to have a nice round and I got a little lucky. Overall, I’m very pleased with my horse” said Nicky Galligan.
