Christian Ahlmann added another win to his amazing record on Saturday afternoon in Leipzig. The past two months have been nothing less than impressive, and together with Cornado II (Cornet Obolensky x Acobat) the German rider won a new Mercedes.
10 out of 50 riders qualified for the jump-off. Germany's Felix Hassmann and Horse Gym's Balance (Balou du Rouet x Ex Libris) were closest to catch Ahlmann's time, but were beaten by 0,30 seconds. Third place went to Dutch rider Gert Jan Bruggink and Vampire (Marome Nw x Voltaire) while Switzerland's Paul Estermann and Lord Pepsi (Lord Pezi x Santander H) in fourth. The last combination to produce two clear rounds was Germany's Marco Kutscher and SIEC Carsten (Cassini I x Quinar).
