Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) and Julius.D (Arezzo VDL x Gelha’s VDL Emilion) won Friday’s CSI4*-W 1.50m ANCFCC Prize, a Grand Prix qualifier, at the Morocco Royal Tour 2025 in El Jadida.
“Julius jumped really well today,” Gaudiano said in a press release from Morocco Royal Tour. "He had only competed in Tétouan previously, and last year he took a break from competing in Europe. Today he was fresh, and he jumped remarkably. It’s wonderful. He has already jumped two five-star Grands Prix, and he performed well. So yes, he is a very promising horse.”
Crossing the finish line in 63.32 seconds, the Italian rider took the win ahead of Joe Whitaker (GBR) and Hulahupe JR (VDL Bubalu x Indoctro) in second in 63.85, while the third place went to Charles Henri Ferme (FRA) and Katmandu (Kannan x Calido I) in 66.45. Jeremy Le Roy (FRA) and Glorious Cornet HDR (Cornet Obolensky x Le Tot de Semilly) finished fourth in 67.02, followed by Jane Annett (GBR) and Impala (Otangelo x Kojak) in fifth in 69.99.
