Italy’s Gianpiero Garofalo and the 10-year-old stallion Lambrusco (Entertainer x Lux) won Friday night’s CSI5*-W 1.50m presented by Finnfoam at the 2026-edition of Helsinki International Horse Show in the Finnish capital.

Besting a field of 36 horse-and-rider combinations in the competition couting for the Longines Rankings Group C, Garofalo took the win with a time of 38.57, ahead of Robert Whitaker (GBR) and Equine America Gentlemen vh Veldhof (Quite Easy x Calido I) who had to settle for second only 0.01 behind the winner.

Denis Lynch (IRL) on Vistogrand (Fantaland x Mr Visto) completed the podium in third in 38.75, while Norway’s Oda Charlotte Lyngvær and Carabella vd Neyen Z (Carrera VDL x Lux Z) finished fourth in 39.79, followed by Malin Baryard-Johnsson (SWE) and Hennessy (Hogwart x Piano II) in fifth in 43.89.
