Straight from their Grand Prix victory in Abu Dhabi, Henrik von Eckermann and the 11-year-old gelding Chacanno (Chacco Blue x Kannan) continued their winning streak on Thursday when taking the top honours in the CSI5*-W 1.45m qualifier for the World Cup in Dubai at the Dubai Show jumping Championship.
A total of 16 riders out of the 51 in this Longines Ranking competition against the clock produced clear rounds, but it was Von Eckermann that was the fastest with his time of 59.60 seconds.
"The course was made for my horse," said Von Eckermann after his win. "I could keep on using his big stride without going crazy. Chacanno is a fantastic horse!"
