Jaroslaw Skrzyczyński and Chacclana won the concluding CSI3*-W Grand Prix World Cup of Warsaw on Sunday, at the event that hosted the FEI World Cup Central European League Final.
Aboard the 9-year-old mare by Chacco-Blue x Cappilano, Skrzyczyński was the best of the Polish trio filling the podium of this 1.55m Grand Prix World Cup that 31 riders had quailified for. With a time of 43.92 seconds in the second round against the clock, Skrzyczyński took home the top prize of 48,200 PLN. His compatriot Wojciech Wojcianiec on the 9-year-old stallion Naccord Melloni (Nabab de Reve x Acord II) took the second place in a time of 44.26, while third place went to Marcin Bętkowski on the 11-year-old gelding Casper XXI (Unitair x Orion Fortuna) – also representing Poland.
The last double clear belonged to Estonia's Urmas Raag on Ibelle van de Grote Haart (Verdi x Robin des Bruyeres), finishing fourth, while Netherland's Angelique Hoorn and Brego R'n B (Namelus R x Gerlinus) ended fifth with four faults in the second round against the clock.
With his victory, Skrzyczyński also secured the overall win in the Cavaliada Tour 2017/2018.
