As the only double clear of the competition, Brazil’s João Victor Castro Aguiar Gomes De Lima and the 12-year-old gelding Kenzo Quality Z (Kannan x Con Air) won Saturday’s CSI5*-W 1.55m presented by Sharjah Sports Council at the 2026-edition of the H.H. Sharjah Ruler Cup in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
Five horse-and-rider combinations cleared the first-round track set by Louis Konickx (NED) and joined the deciding jump-off, where only the winning duo managed to deliver another clear round. Carrying four penalties each, David Will (GER) on Xixo Borgia (Big Star x Sandro Boy) took the runner-up spot, while Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) with Qasirah van de Reistenhoek (Emerald x Kannan) placed third, Tim Gredley (GBR) abord Vuitton of Picobello Z (Vagabond de La Pomme x Contact vd Heffinck) fourth and Shane Breen (IRL) on Scarteen (Golden Hawk x Chellano) fifth.
