Luciana Diniz (POR) and Vertigo du Desert (Mylord Carthago*HN x Robin II Z) won Friday's feature class in Madrid, the CSI5*-W 1.55m against the clock presented by Estrella Damm. Stopping the clock at 57.28 seconds, the pair was 0.67 seconds faster than runners-up Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) and Chalou (Chacco Blue x Baloubet du Rouet).

With a time of 58.90, Simon Delestre (FRA) came third with Hermes Ryan (Hugo Gesmeray x Ryon d'Anzex) while Steve Guerdat (SUI) and Albfuehren's Bianca (Balou du Rouet x Cardento) finished fourth and Pieter Devos (BEL) on Jade v Bisschop (Ogano Sitte x Grannus) fifth. 

Earlier in the day, Eduardo Alvarez Aznar (ESP) made it a home win in the 1.45m presented by Hola. Riding F (Bustique x Krunch de Breve), the Spanish rider was nearly three seconds faster than Emilio Bicocchi (ITA) on Flinton (Clinton x Heartbreaker). Ömer Karaevli (TUR) finished third with Roso Au Crosnier (Looping d'Elle x Odin de la Cense).
