Ireland’s Michael Pender and the 12-year-old mare HHS Los Angeles won Friday’s CSI5*-W Longines Grand Prix qualifier at the 2026-edition of the H.H. Sharjah Ruler Cup in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
With a time of 64.20, Pender stepped on top of the podium, while Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) on Calizi (Cellestial x Stakkatol) and Omar Abdul Aziz Al Marzooqi (UAE) aboard Chacco Bay (Chaccato x Heops) took second and third with times of 64.52 and 66.15 seconds respectively.
Constant van Paesschen (BEL) and Diaz du Thot (Ready Boy des Forets x Diams du Grasset) finished fourth when crossing the finish line in 67.07, followed by Saeed Moh’D Al Maazmi (UAE) and Passion vd Donkhoeve (Dallas x Kashmir van Schuttershof) in fifth in 67.26.
