Dutch rider Michel Hendrix went to the top in the CSI2* FEI World Cup leg in Budapest on Saturday. Only two riders cleared the first round in this World Cup class for the Central European League; Michel with Baileys (Indoctro x Come On) and Alice Janout with Wodka Lime (Indorado x Ladalco). In the jump-off, Hendrix cleared the course again and ended as the winner as Austria's Janout recorded four faults and had to settle for second place.

Seven riders ended the first round on a score of four penalties, and the fastest of them - Hungary's Gyula Szuhai with Quintus (Quite Capitole x Lacantus) - took the third place ahead of Austria's Thomas Frühmann with The Sixth Sense (Zorro T x Grannus-Granit) in fourth.
