After producing the only clear round in the CSI3* World Cup in St. Petersburg this weekend, Natalia Simonia (RUS) went off with the victory on home soil.

The Derby Club in St. Petersburg hosted the competition, that saw 28 competitors from Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus lined up to compete for World Cup points.

Course designer Olaf Petersen from Germany is famous for his tough tracks and this time around was no exception. The only one who coped with the tricky track was Russian national team member Natalia Simonia on the Russian bred Klen (Kwazimodo x Libertas), taking the top honours. Simonia's compatriot Mikhail Safronov took second place riding Diarado (Vigaro x Voltaire), with four faults in the first round. Third place went to Urmas Raag (EST) on Carlos (Verdi x Linaro), also finishing on four faults.
