Nicola Philippaerts (BEL) and H&M Harley vd Bisschop (Dulf van den Bisschop x Coronado) won Saturday night's CSI5* 1.55m The International Omaha Jumping Grand Prix.
Only fourteen riders came to start in the Grand Prix, and ten of them moved on to the second round – four on a clean sheet and six on a four-penalty-score. Only two riders managed to repeat their clear rounds; Nicola Philippaerts and Lorenzo De Luca (ITA) on Limestone Grey (Try Time x Unknown). Against the clock, Philippaerts was a second faster than De Luca to take the victory.
Third place went to Ludger Beerbaum (GER) on Chiara (Contender x Coronado 3), with four faults against the clock which was also the result for Karl Cook (USA) on Tembla (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Cavalier) who ended fourth. Christian Heineking (GER) finished fifth with four faults in both rounds.
