The feature class of the CSI4*-W Cavaliada Kraków – the 1.55m PKO Bank Polski Grand Prix – was won by Germany’s Patrick Bölle riding Caramba de Janeiro (Check In 2 x Stolzenberg).

In a jump-off between eleven horse-and-rider-combinations, Bölle took the win with a time of 39.28 seconds ahead of Poland's own Marek Waclawik and Kathmandau (Zinedine x Samurai M) in 41.16.

With a fence down in 37.27 seconds, Germany's Michael Kölz and Cellato (Cellestial x Calato) finished third, while the fourth spot went to Ireland's Jeremy Sweetnam and Bogano (Ogano Sitte x Voltaire Pref) and fifth to the Netherland's Amanda Slagter and Cornet Blue PS (Chacco-Blue x Cornet's Stern).

"It was a very nice class, a well-built course, for me and my horse it was enjoyable to ride. I think the most difficult fence was number three. Some riders took too many risks and that's where the knockdowns came from. My horse Caramba is 12 years old, she is in great shape, she was a fighter and did everything for me to be able to win. This is my first time at Cavaliada and I think it is a great show. The fans are amazing, I will definitely come back next year," said the winner Patrick Bölle.

The best rider of the Cavaliada Tour and the FEI Jumping World Cup Central European League was Latvia’s Kristaps Neretnieks, who today ended 12th. The competition for the three qualifying places for the FEI Jumping World Cup Final, which will be held in Riyadh in April, stayed fierce until the end. With his performances in Krakow, Neretnieks topped the final CEL standings and secured a ticket for this prestigious competition for the fourth time. Sara Vingralkova from the Czech Republic and Angelos Touloupis from Greece can also book their flights to Riyadh after qualifying.
