Geir bought Edesa S Banjan from Ashford Farm and says this about the buy: "He was competed by Marlon Zanotelli at Ashford Farm and Enda who owns the stable thought that I should by him for my daughter and me. I bought him without trying him and then when I went there to try him I didn't like him at all - he was terrible. I really didn't like him, so at first my daughter rode him. Enda said that he is a show horse and told me to take him to a show. And when I took him to the first show and got two meters from the gate he woke up and Enda was right in this case - he is a show horse. Now I like him, he is very athletic."

Luca Maria Moneta ended third on Connery that he got for free: "It is always nice to be double clear in the Grand Prix, but it is even nicer to be double clear here. For me Germans are the best in the world when it comes to jumping and the course was really though. I was so proud of my horse and he really did everything he could for me."

"I'm specialist in horses with problems and Connery came to me because he was very difficult and dangerous. So the owner came to me and said that 'if you want the horse I will give him to you for free'. In the beginning he was very stressed but step by step it is getting better and better. He really tries his best and I'm so proud of him."
