Sheikh Ali Al Thani made it a home win in Saturday's CSI4* FEI World Cup in Al Rayyan, Qatar. Aboard the 10-year-old mare Carolina 31 (Colman x Ramirado), Al Thani produced one of the three double clear rounds of this World Cup competition in the Arab League with a time in the jump-off that was nearly three seconds faster than that of runner-up Kamal Bahamdan (KSA) on Delphi (Leo Caylon x Brilliant Invader).

Athina Onassis (GRE) produced the third and last clear against the clock aboard Cinsey (Contendro I x For Pleasure), taking third place.

It was a good day for the home riders, with Bassem Hassan Mohammed finishing fourth and Ali Yousuf Al Rumaihi fifth.
