Riding the 10-year-old gelding Albführen's Iashin Sitte (Bamako de Muze x Tinka's Boy), the current world number two and 2024 Olympic vice-champion Steve Guerdat (SUI) won Friday's CSI5*-W 1.55m Prize of Outletcity Metzingen – counting for the Longines Rankings Group D – at the 2024-edition of Stuttgart German Masters.
Stopping the clock on 61.28 seconds in this second qualifier for Friday night's traditional German Masters, Guerdat and Iashin Sitte took the win ahead of Giulia Martinengo Marquet (ITA) and Delta Del'Isle (Tibet Tame x Grain de Soleil) who finished as runners-up with a time of 61.39.
Guerdat's compatriot and current world number eleven Martin Fuchs and Commissar Pezi (Commissario x Böckmann's Lord Pezi) placed third with a time of 62.00 seconds, followed by Harrie Smolders (NED) and Monaco N.O.P. (Cassini II x Contender) in fourth in 62.66 and Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida (POR) on Solidat (Semper Fi x Chacco-Blue) in fifth in 62.73.
