This week, the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Western European League moves on to its 7th stop of the 2022/2023-season – going from Madrid to Casas Novas Equestrian Center in La Coruña, Spain.
On the list of riders are some of the best in the world, such as Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), Martin Fuchs (SUI), Steve Guerdat (SUI), Harrie Smolders (NED), Daniel Deusser (GER), Marcus Ehning (GER), Ludger Beerbaum (GER), Gregory Wathelet (BEL) and Kevin Staut (FRA). The host nation also comes strong in force with Sergio Alvarez Moya, Eduardo Alvarez Aznar and Manuel Fernandez Saro among the biggest names on the entry list.
The 2022/2023 Western European League season is a busy one, with fourteen CSI5*-W fixtures in eleven countries between October 2022 and the end of February 2023. With the seven best results counting for each rider, the top eighteen will qualify for the final in Omaha, USA, in April.
