The second veterinary inspection at the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final 2025 in Basel, Switzerland, took place on Saturday during a rest day from competition for the horses.

Max Kühner (AUT) opted not to trot up EIC Up Too Jacco Blue – one of his two horses in Basel – and only presented Elektric Blue P, and Ales Opatrny (CZE) made the same decision with Forewer, only presenting his second horse Kapsones W. Martin Fuchs (SUI), Hans-Dieter Dreher (GER) and Willem Greve (NED) trotted up both of their horses, while Pieter Devos (BEL) withdrew with Casual DV Z, as did Alessandra Volpi (USA) with Gipsy Love.

In total, 29 horses were presented on Saturday, with 28 of them deemed fit to compete. Ramzy Al Duhami's (KSA) Untouchable 32 and Kim Emmen's (NED) Imagine were both sent to the holding box, and while Untouchable 32 was accepted when shown again, Imagine was not.

The 30 best horse-and-rider combinations from the provisional classification following the second competition are qualified to compete in the first round of the third Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ competition on Sunday and those unable to start will not be replaced.
