60 of the world's elite-level equine athletes land at HKG for the Longines Masters of Hong Kong

60 of the world’s top-rated horses flew into town for this weekend’s Longines Masters of Hong Kong. Befitting their pedigrees – and their stature in the sport – the horses flew in ultimate comfort and safety onboard an Etihad Cargo Boeing 777 Freighter, arriving at the Hong Kong International Airport under the watchful gaze of the world’s leading horse transport company, Peden Bloodstock. 

Among the stars of the sport now being prepared for three days of Longines Masters of Hong Kong competition at AsiaWorld-Expo are Paris’s Longines Speed Challenge winner - Kevin Staut's Ayade de Septon*HDC – as well as Emanuele Gaudiano’s Chalou. Joining them is Roger Yves Bost's gelding Vino D'Espinet and Jerôme Guery’s ride Garfield.

Exceptional program for a 3-day event full of world-class sport, emotions and refinement

The best riders of the world give you rendezvous for the 7th edition of the Longines Masters of Hong Kong. Don't miss the HKJC Race of the Riders, a unique competition that pairs four of the world’s top jockeys with four of the world’s top show jumpers, on Friday Feb. 15th at 7:00 PM (12:00 PM CET).

Saturday Feb. 16th will be the scene of the great sport with the Masters Power Maserati Trophy, starting at 1:00 PM. One of the most spectacular competitions, that blends power and agility in a gravity-defying high jump competition followed by the fastest class in the world: the Longines Speed Challenge starting at 8:30 PM 

Sunday Feb. 17th Asian Junior Challenge will give local fans a chance to see 6 top Asian riders under 18 competing together at the most prestigious 5* show jumping competition in Asia. Followed by the DBS Trophy at 12:00 PM which marks the penultimate competitive event at the Longines Masters of Hong Kong. 

The Longines Grand Prix, starting at 3:00 PM the great classic of show jumping events, with Olympic heights of 1.60m, is the ultimate test of technicality, sporting performance, agility and bravery and closes each round of the Series at a climax.
