Patrice Delaveau delivered again in Paris on Sunday evening, and demonstrated that he is the indisputable master of Paris when he took home the five star Grand Prix. Riding his winning partner from Friday's feature class, Lacrimoso HDC (Landjunge x Cascavelle), Patrice again delivered clear rounds and a jump-off that was by far the fastest against fifteen other riders as last to go against the clcok.

With almost two seconds down to runner-up Simon Delestre, winner of yesterday's Gucci Gold Cup, this time on Hermes Ryan des Hayettes (Hugo Gesmeray x Ryon d'Anzex), it was a very comfortable win for Delaveau who made sure the French flag kept on flying high in the capital this weekend. Leaving out one stride in the first line in the jump-off, Delaveau hoped to keep up his advantage throughout the shortened track which he in the end managed. "Like the crack that Lacrimoso is, he just took it and it went well," Patrice said after his win.

Runner-up Delestre said; "The first round was very difficult, and it was a very exciting jump-off. Luc Musette offered a fabulous track with a gallop and spectacular options. Because we had a lot of riders in the jump-off, we were forced to give our all."

Third place went to Ireland's Billy Twomey on the veteran Tinka's Serenade (Tinka's Boy x African Drum), now 18-years-old. Fourth was Netherland's Maikel van der Vleuten on VDL Groep Arera C (Indoctro x Voltaire) while USA's Lauren Hough was fifth on Ohlala (Orlando x Cardento).
