In front of a large crowd on Friday, Alexa Ferrer (FRA) and Vitalhorse Fleur d’Oz (Olimbos Merze x Papillon Rouge) won the CSI5* 1.55m Prix Mars & Co, the day's main event at Jumping International de Dinard in France. It was from the hands of Danièle Mars, President of the show, and her children, Samantha and Axel, that Alexa Ferrer received the Prix Mars & Co trophy.

Out of 37 horse-and-rider combinations, seven managed to qualify for the jump-off with a clear round. Second to go in the jump-off, Ferrer set the pace and crossed the finish line in 38.37. The mare was amazing, she’s in great shape at the moment,” said the day’s winner after the prize-giving ceremony. “She’s been very consistent recently with many placings – I was often second, but today the win was ours. She’s incredibly fast, a true competition horse with a huge heart, and she gave her all today. Winning here in Dinard is even more special. I love this show – I’m a big fan of pink!”

Only Ferrer's compatriot Nina Mallevaey, currently ranked world no.1 in the U25 category, managed to improve on her time with Dynastie de Beaufour (Diamant de Semilly x Cassini II) but a rail down relegated her to sixth place. Kevin Staut (FRA) placed second aboard New Libero One d’Asschaut (Van Gogh x For Pleasure) in 38.53, while the last to enter the arena, Carly Anthony (USA) and Heavenly W (Calvaro F.C. x Quidam de Revel), completed the podium in third in 38.67, followed by Nicolas Delmotte (FRA) and Jordan Molga M (Etoulon x HGT Dulf van den Bisschop) in fourth and Gerfried Puck (AUT) aboard Equitron Naxcel V (Balou du Rouet x Landetto) in fifth.

The second CSI5* class of the day, the Prix Cordon Group, went to Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) and Glamour Girl (VDL Zirocco Blue x Caletto I) ahead of Ignacio Maurin (ARG) and Chacco-Conno PS (Chacco-Blue x Conthargos) in second and Denis Lynch (IRL) aboard King Blue (Dallas x Chacco-Blue) in third.
