With four former winners of the Rolex Grand Prix of the City of Dinard, six of the world's top ten riders, several European and Olympic medallists, and a number of horse-and-rider combinations selected for the FEI World Championships in Aachen this August, the 2026 Jumping International de Dinard, taking place from 30 July to 2 August, looks set to be another spectacular edition.

The line-up for the 114th edition of the Jumping International de Dinard is set to be stronger than ever, once again confirming its status as one of the world's premier show jumping events. Held just days before the FEI World Championships, the Breton competition, the fifth leg of the Rolex Series circuit, will offer the world's best riders a final opportunity to fine-tune their preparations under conditions similar to those they will encounter in Aachen. 

Competing on home soil, France will be represented by eleven riders, led by the last French winner of the Rolex Grand Prix of the City of Dinard, Kévin Staut, who claimed victory in 2024 aboard Beau de Laubry Z.

Joining him will be Julien Epaillard (world no. 8) and Olivier Perreau, both members of the French team that won bronze at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, alongside François-Xavier Boudant, Marc Dilasser, Alexa Ferrer, Emeric George, Pénélope Leprevost, team gold medallist at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, Mégane Moissonnier and Julien Anquetin. Renowned for its enthusiastic support of every horse-and-rider combination, the Dinard crowd will undoubtedly give a particularly warm welcome to Nicolas Layec, the only Breton rider competing in the CSI5*.

They will face a formidable international field, including three former winners of the Rolex Grand Prix: Switzerland’s Martin Fuchs* (world no. 17), the event’s only two-time winner after back-to-back victories in 2021 and 2022; Austria’s Max Kühner (world no. 20), who claimed the title in 2023; and Germany’s Christian Ahlmann, winner in 2016. Ahlmann will be joined by fellow Germans Richard Vogel* (world no. 2) and Christian Kukuk (world no. 10), Olympic champion at Paris 2024, both selected for Germany’s squad for the FEI World Championships in Aachen.

Great Britain will field its two highest-ranked riders, Scott Brash and Ben Maher. Ranked third and fourth in the world respectively, both are also set to compete in Aachen this August. Ireland will be represented by Shane Sweetnam (world no. 5) and Denis Lynch, Sweden by Henrik von Eckermann, the Olympic team champion at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, New Zealand by Luke Dee, Spain by Armando Trapote, the United States by Lillie Keenan (world no. 33), and Brazil by Rodrigo Pessoa and Luciana Diniz.

Belgium will be represented by the world’s no. 1 U25 rider, Thibeau Spits, alongside Pieter Devos and Gregory Wathelet. Victor Bettendorf and Willem Greve will represent Luxembourg and the Netherlands respectively.

After France, Mexico will be the second most represented nation in the CSI5*, with no fewer than seven riders entered, including its highest-ranked representative, Nicolas Pizarro (world no. 46). Federico Fernandez, Andres Azcarraga and Paola Amilibia will also be part of the Mexican delegation in Dinard.
