This week, it is time for the 2024-edition of the CSIO5* Brussels Stephex Masters – a part of the Rolex Series – and the event welcomes some of the best in the world to Wolvertem, Belgium.
Nine teams – Argentina, Belgium, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland – have been invited to compete in Friday's Henders & Hazel Nations Cup, while Sunday's highlight will be the €500,000 Rolex Grand Prix.
The entry list includes the current world number one, two and four; Sweden's Henrik von Eckermann, Great Britain's Ben Maher and Switzerland's Steve Guerdat. Scott Brash, who claimed Olympic team gold in Paris alongside Maher, will also be competing at Brussels Stephex Masters, while Cian O'Connor and Conor Swail are leading the Irish squad. They will be joined by big names such as Martin Fuchs (SUI), Olivier Perreau (FRA) – Olympic team bronze medalist from Paris, Daniel Deusser (GER), Gregory Wathelet (BEL), Harrie Smolders (NED), as well as the young talents Gilles Thomas (BEL), Jeanne Sadran (FRA) and Jenny Krogsæter (NOR).
