As the 2026 FEI Jumping World Championships in Aachen, Germany – taking place from 16-23 August – keep getting closer, the Brazilian Equestrian Confederation (CBH) has announced their selection for the Brazilian jumping team.
The Brazilian team includes:
- Luciana Diniz and Vertigo du Desert (Mylord Carthago x Robin II Z)
- Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and Dorette Old (Dollar du Murier x Fighting Alpha) or Ilex (Baltic VDL x Chin Chin)
- Rodrigo Pessoa and Major Tom (Vagabond de La Pomme x Heartbreaker) or Prins van’t Eigenlo (Vigo d’Arsouilles x Zandor Z)
- Stephan De Freitas Barcha with Dinozo Império Egípcio (Diamant de Semilly x Urbain du Monnai) or Chevaux Primavera Império Egípcio (Calvaro F.C. x Paroli 4)
- Yuri Mansur and QH Alfons Santo Antonio (Aromats x False Pass)
Eduardo Pereira de Menezes with H5 Londontime (Hummertime x Numero Uno) and Pedro Muylaert with Gemme Villers (Maloubet de Pleville x Norman Pre Noir) are the reserves.
The CBH also shared that they have hired Franke Sloothaak to help the team alongside team leader Pedro Paulo Lacerda. “As part of the sports planning focused on excellence and strengthening the high-performance program, the CBH confirms the hiring of renowned international coach Franke Sloothaak to technically lead the team during the preparation and participation in the World Championships. An Olympic champion and recognized as one of the most respected professionals in world of equestrianism, Franke Sloothaak brings vast experience in high-level competitions to the Brazilian delegation, reinforcing the Confederation's commitment to seeking the best results for the country,” the CBH shared in a press release.
