Nanna Nieminen: Always think positive...

Gotha and her little friend Elle
Gotha and her little friend Elle.

Hi,

I had a quiet morning here with some alone time with the ponies as Henrik had gone home to ride a few horses there. Celia made sure I didn't get bored thou and tried to teach me to play Angry Birds on her phone. Being Finnish I felt like it is my patriotic duty to at least try and I can see how some people get addicted to these things. Luckily Henrik showed up and I needed to work again, just as I was starting to get the birds and their special skills figured out.

Henrik rode Savita and Catover and then it was time to get Gotha ready for the Grand Prix. Just as the class started it also started to rain. This is why I am a big fan of the indoor season - you don't need to worry about the weather factors (there is enough to worry about without that one). We didn't really have the best of days today with some poles flying, breast plates breaking and time faults and so on, it was more like the mother of all bad days. But what still put a smile on our faces was seeing Marco win! Well done team Kutcher. Also well done to Simon and Bassem, really happy to see these three on the podium, very well deserved.

Let's hope the rain stops at some point and that we learned something from today. As someone I know would say; always think positive!

Nanna
