Both Jur Vrieling with VDL Glasgow vh Merelsnest (Nabab de Reve x Darco) and Ruben Romp with Audi’s Teavanta II C Z (Treasure x Ahorn) have moved up to the Dutch Olympic squad, Netherland's A-team.
They are joining Leopold van Asten with VDL Groep Zidane N.O.P. (Heartbreaker x Calando I), Jeroen Dubbeldam with SFN Zenith (Rash x Fuego du Prelet), Willem Greve with Carambole N.O.P. (San Patrignano Cassini x Concerto 4), Michel Hendrix with Baileys (Indoctro x Come On), Marc Houtzager with Sterrehof’s Calimero (Quidam de Revell x Achill/Libero H), Harrie Smolders with Don VHP Z (Diamant de Semilly x Voltaire) and Emerald N.O.P. (Diamant de Semilly x Carthago Z) as well as Maikel van der Vleuten with VDL Groep Arera C (Indoctro x Voltaire).
Five of the riders above will probably be representing the Netherlands at this year’s European Championships in Gothenburg later this month.
