This July, the X-BIONIC® SPHERE returns once again to host three weeks of top tier equestrian competition in one of the most state of the art sports centers in all of Europe. Taking place from the 17-29 July, 2018, the X-BIONIC® Summer Tour will offer a range of CSI1*, CSI2*, CSI4* and CSI YH 1* classes for professional and amateur riders, as well as special competitions for young horses. The 2018 prize list includes 12 Longines ranking classes, with a total of €575.000 prize money offered throughout the circuit. 

This year, the season will culminate with the FEI Jumping Nations CupTM Youth competition for Young Riders, Juniors, and Children (2 - 5 August, 2018). Offering €43.000 in total prize money, the event gives the opportunity for Europe’s brightest future talents to test their mettle over four days of intensive, international team competition.  

With outstanding facilities comprising 1.000.000 square meters, X-BIONIC® SPHERE represents a heaven for athletes, sport enthusiasts, families, and health and wellness seekers. The equestrian offerings include 8 oversize arenas, including 3 grass arenas, 2 indoor arenas, 3 sand arenas, and a huge, 1.6-kilometer-long galloping track. In addition, the facility houses 680 permanent boxes which connect directly to the horse trucks parking and main arenas, ensuring X-BIONIC® SPHERE is designed with full sports compliance and the total comfort and welfare of the horse in mind.

Accommodating up to 600 horses, the 2018 Summer Tour will take place across 2 grass and 2 sand competition arenas, with additional areas open daily for training rounds. The brainchild of successful businessman and endurance enthusiast Mario Hoffmann, X-BIONIC® SPHERE has been built in partnership with the globally acclaimed sportswear brand, x-bionic®. The complex, which is the Olympic training center of Slovakia and an official candidate to host the World Equestrian Games 2022, represents a universe of sports, leisure, and innovation, accommodating 27 separate Olympic disciplines.

In addition to the outstanding equestrian facilities, guests will enjoy the new X-BIONIC® HOTEL, which connects directly to the sports area. The property boasts 282 rooms, 12 exclusive roof suites, and stunning views of the Danube River. The hotel also includes a huge wellness area with a wide range of luxurious treatments, a 1.000 square meter gym with the latest Technogym and Cybex machines, 2 Olympic pools, a cinema, a playground for children, 2 lounge bars, and 4 restaurants. This year, the show jumping sector will once again be guided by Event Director Denis Monticolo. Monticolo has extensive experience managing equestrian events throughout Italy, Spain, and France, where his resume includes the acclaimed Longines Athina Onassis Horse Show in Saint-Tropez.

The 2018 X-BIONIC® SUMMER TOUR will take place over two consecutive weekends in July and August: 17-22 July, 24-29 July.

The FEI Jumping Nations CupTM Youth competition for Young Riders, Juniors, and Children will take place on  2-5 August.
