The German rider Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst was one of the 'lucky riders' who got the opportunity to ride the legendary Chacco-Blue (f. Chambertin). When he was the stable rider of Paul Schockemöhle, he competed the stallion at the highest level. In an interview with the team of Equbreeding, he tells about the exceptional qualities of the stallion.

"Chacco-Blue was a real warrior, he always kept on fighting", the German says. "I haven't met many horses who had the same winner mentality as he had. Even when things got difficult, he kept on going. He was a real fighter, when you entered the ring with him, you just knew you were going to reach the finish because he never gave up. I know that he also gives that quality to his offspring. I heard from several riders who are riding a Chacco son or daughter that these horses have that fighting spirit as well. Besides that, he also had an amazing technique which definitely makes him one of the best horses I have ever ridden", he continues.
