Louis Koninckx designated Course Designer for Season III of Longines Masters Series

For Season III of the Longines Masters in Paris, Hong Kong and New York, EEM called upon the world's foremost course manager today, a man who recently designed all the courses for the Longines FEI European Championships: the Netherlands’ Louis Koninckx. He will deploy his technical savvy throughout the season and craft the series’ most emblematic competitions, including the Longines Speed Challenge, with its unique course across three continents, or the Longines Grand Prix, the supporting competition to the Grand Slam Indoor.

He will also build the first edition of the Riders Masters Cup. Louis Koninckx has further agreed to be part of a new foray for the Longines Masters of Paris: the power test set to place during the Saturday daytime session, showing off the horses’ extraordinary strength. This new competition, to be known as “Masters Power”, will delight audiences with its dazzling visual display: riders and their horses will be expected to pass 6 obstacles of dizzying heights, all in a truly electrical atmosphere! In short, it will be yet another show the likes of which only EEM can produce.

The Longines Masters, ideally wedding sport and art de vivre

To step into the world of the Longines Masters of Paris is to experience 360° immersion, in which every instant is dappled in wonder. The live and ongoing displays offered with each new contest in the competition sends jolts across the social media, the event’s living breathing memory, and takes passions to new heights. For visitors wishing to extend their pleasure or embark on a personal discovery of the equestrian world, the Prestige Village unfolds around the riders’ training paddock, offering a multitude of activities to experience.

During the day, attendees will be able to: enjoy a stroll amidst the pop-up stores, each showcasing a different face of the refinement and know-how characteristic of luxury and the equestrian world; take in exhibitions by renowned artists such as sculptor Richard Orlinski; or indulge in some of the scrumptious taste sensations on offer at the Bar Lounge. In the evening, the “Masters’” experience will extend with traditional “after-parties”, including showcase concerts and DJ sets.

Over at the competition course, the “Masters Club” will open its doors to VIPs, company leaders and celebrities, at its starred table, or in its VIP Suites, with a breathtaking view on the sporting action.

The Longines Masters of Paris offer a weekend of emotion and intensity for all -- young and old, long-standing fans and newcomers, celebrities and lesser-knowns -- all united by a shared passion for equestrian sports.
