As one of Europe’s best foal auctions, Foal Auction Borculo sets the bar high when it comes to the selection of foals. This year the auction presents a collection of foals in which a strong damline with lots of sport prevails. 

The damline of Prince Casall M (by Casall) must appeal to many international show jumpers. His dam Vostelle produced the Numero Uno-offspring Cristello, who forms one of the most remarkable combinations with Denis Lynch at the moment. Under Kevin Jochems, Cristello was successful in CSI5* nation cups and now he continues his successful career at 1.60m level with Denis Lynch. The full sister of Cristello is Belle, that jumped 1.50/1.55m with Lauren Hough and Paris Sellon in the USA. Vostelle also brought the international horses Gestelle M (9 years) and Innostello M (7 years) that jump at 1.40m level. 

In the collection, one of the very few offspring of Chianti’s Champion is for sale. The stallion built up quite a reputation under Frank Schuttert and achieved top placements in the 5* Grands Prix, the highlight being competing at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon. After the sale pf the stallion, Peter Moloney and Christian Kukuk took a seat in the saddle and they also competed at top level. Dam Laika de Laubry Z is a daughter of Little Rock and a half-sister to the 1.60m horses Lando’s Star (Elisabeth Kruse) and Chacco Blue Diamond (Monika Stangelova). The sport in the damline makes Chianti Rocks van Westzijde an excellent acquisition for the future. 

In the damline of Palermo we encounter another 5* superstar. Hello Senator of Scott Brash is closely related to this Palermo. The pair jumped to a second position in the Rolex Grand Prix CSI5* of Geneva. Agana van het Gerendal (1.60m with Lillie Keenan) can also be found in the pedigree of one of the foals. The granddam of Avalanche van het Gerndal (by Aganix du Seigneur) is the dam of Agana van het Gerendal. Also Pepin (by Emerald) descends from a damline filled with sport. Pepin is a half-brother of the 1.60m horses C.Hunter of Lucas Porter and Narazo de Nyz Z of Derim Demirsoy. Moreover, dam Absie and granddam Urmina jumped 1.50-1.60m Grand Prix.

The collection is completed with two offspring of the famous ‘t Roosakker breeding, offspring of among others All Star, Cornet Obolensky, For Pleasure, Chacco-Blue and Dominator. Furthermore, three embryos of the stallions Chacco-Blue and Emerald are for sale.
