The Bolesworth International Summer Festival presented by long standing partners Al Shira’aa will run over two weekends from 6th – 16th June 2024 at Bolesworth Castle in Cheshire.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to our expanded schedule and first two week tour at Bolesworth.  We will be welcoming Raf Suarez and Javier Trenor as lead course designers for the two weeks, and our team are always here to make sure that all riders, horses, owners and connections have the best time possible at Bolesworth.

Clear round jumping will be available to all riders staying onsite in the Castle Arena on Tuesday 11th June.

The riders bar will remain open on the evenings of Sunday 10th June – Wednesday 12th June with music and Happy Hour every night, with food concessions also available.

Mini Major Fancy Dress Pairs Relay: Sunday 16th June (Invitational – Ponies to jump 90cm)

Eventing Grand Prix: Thursday 13th June, £5000 to the winner, riders will tackle a combined course of showjumps and cross country fences against the clock

We have opened up the Amateur classes to start from 1m.  These classes will take place mainly in the main International Arena, with a special deal for riders coming for the two weeks. Amateur riders can enjoy a special package to include complementary LeMieux gilets, and invtiations to the welcome VIP cocktail party at Bolesworth Castle on Wednesday 5th June.

Each evening in the VIP Hospitality marquee will feature live music and entertainment, and on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th June, all visitors will be able to enjoy our live music stage on the showground till late. Our VIP guests will have access to an exclusive VIP area near the stage with private bar.

We have been running a successful auction since 2014, and have enjoyed following the progress of our auction references through the grades at international young horse classes all the way through to Longines Ranking classes.

We have a very thorough selection process, starting with the pedigrees, where only youngstock by the worlds leading sires out of proven black type dams are taken forward to then be assessed from a conformation and veterinary perspective, including x rays which are screened for the yearlings.
