The new Equitop Bolesworth Young Horse Championship Show looks set to provide a feast of sporting action and launch two new Elite Sport Horse Auctions.

With a host of high-class show jumping and equestrian sport over the five days – August 14 to 18 - in the stunning grounds of Bolesworth Castle, the event will provide a fantastic day out for equestrian sport enthusiasts and industry professionals.

Entries for the show are open and filling fast with the very best horses from all over Britain travelling to compete in the North West. The British Breeding Industry will be another focus for the event, with stakeholders being invited both to exhibit and to network, with the show providing a platform for breeders, producers and stallion owners to do business.

The Equitop Bolesworth Young Horse Championships, will incorporate the Official British Showjumping Young Horse Championships and qualifiers for the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH) Championships, held at Lanaken in September.

These will run alongside CSI** and CSIAm International classes with the young horses all having the chance to experience jumping in the amphitheatre-style International Arena with the atmosphere of a true world-class competition.

The opening night on August 14th will include an Eventing Grand Prix, the second leg of the new Bolesworth Grand Prix Series; with the final taking place at the TheraPlate UK Liverpool International Horse Show. The Cazenove Capital sponsored first leg was won by Gemma Tattersall who heads to Liverpool along with other stars confirmed to include Oliver Townend, Jay Halim and Emily King.

Saturday will conclude with the TheraPlate UK Puissance followed by party time and all the usual evening entertainment you’ve come to expect at Bolesworth.

The line-up of sport on Sunday 18th with include both the 6yr old and 7yr old finals and the CSI 2* Grand Prix. Alongside this there will be a showcase of an elite selection of Britain’s top stallions available at stud, including legends such as Big Star, Arco and Je T’aime Flamenco who can be seen up close during the day in the Auction stables adjacent to the Club Boles Hospitality marquee; open throughout the week to visitors and featuring a fully licensed bar and food options together with reserved VIP tables.
