On Friday the 28th of October the 11th edition of the Swedish Select Horse Sale will be held during the Elmia Scandinavian Horse Show in Jönköping. At 19.00 hrs the first horse will enter the ring, jump loose and be sold by auctioneer and international showjumper Royne Zetterman.

“We are very happy with this year’s selection” says Royne, one of the 4 founders of the auction. “The quality of the 3­year old horses offered for auction is improving every year and this year we strongly feel that we have the best selection in the history of the auction”.

In the pedigree of the 30 selected 3­year olds we find international blood lines from stallions such as Chacco Blue, Balou du Rouet, Kannan and Arko III. A half brother of the Olympic silver medalist from Rio, H & M All In (by Hooch DK) will also be offered for sale.

During the 10 years of the auction several of the sold horses have become internationally successful show jumpers such as Giljandro van den Bosrand (Orlando x Clinton) with Henrik von Eckerman and Bianca (Balou du Rouet x Cardento) with Steve Guerdat, who were both sold at the auction in 2009.
