Zangersheide Auction returns in spectacular style with Part II of its Online Foal Auction, presenting an exceptional, star-studded collection of foals closely connected to top-level sport. The lineup showcases progeny from some of the most celebrated damlines in showjumping, and features offspring of the recently crowned European Champion Ermitage Kalone alongside legendary sires such as Cardento, Carthago Z, Cornet Obolensky, Diamant de Semilly, Zirocco Blue, Emerald, Chacco Blue and Cumano. These are complemented by prestigious Olympic and Grand Prix families, promising unmatched potential for the next generation of champions.

Ermitage Kalone is represented with four foals in the collection, among them the impressive Enfant d’Ermitage Z, a brother of Michel Robert’s Grand Prix winner Calasto Z, and the exceptional Erasmus PS Z, who hails from the same damline as the great Emerald van ’t Ruytershof. Also closely related to Emerald is the outstanding Carthiano Kemp Z, a colt bred out of a 1.50m jumping sister to Carthina Z - the dam of Emerald, Nixon van ’t Meulenhof, and Diamanthina v/h Ruytershof.

No fewer than seven foals in the collection are bred directly out of Grand Prix mares. Among the standouts is Manoubell Z, an exclusive colt bred directly out of Jessica Springsteen’s 1.60m Grand Prix winner RMF Tinkerbell. Adding to the excitement is the impressive Haddaway A&S Z, out of 1.60m performing Earl Grey, who has already produced three 1.45-1.60m jumpers, including the approved 5* 1.60m Grand Prix stallion I’m a Star.

The collection also features the Z-Festival Vice-Champion, Calvador Royale GHM Z, bred out of a sister to 1.60m Grand Prix performer Zarkava Hero Z and aunt to Dourkhan Hero Z. A filly to watch is the gorgeous Cardento daughter Cardolan v/d Mittelerde Z, whose granddam is a full sister to Penelope Leprevost’s Grand Prix stallion Vagabond de La Pomme, tracing back to the legendary Narcotique de Muze II and Qerly Chin.

The striking and unique Eckermann vh Ruytinxbos Z  doesn’t just share a name with Henrik von Eckermann, he also shares the same sire as Henrik’s World and Olympic champion, King Edward. This rare son of Edward 28 is a half-brother to rising star Clooney van Spalbeek Z (1.45m Mark McAuley), and cousin to Harm Lahde’s 1.60m Grand Prix jumping Echo van Spalbeek.

Fans of the highly sought after J-Nius V.V. Z will be captivated by the spotted Just Genius di Cabra Z, out of one of Belgium’s finest damlines. His uncle is none other than Niels Bruynseels’s Olympic gold medalist Delux van T&L, offering a rare opportunity to secure a colourful stallion prospect straight from an Olympic-winning family. 

Also directly linked to Olympic glory is the stunning and lightfooted Cylora Z, an exclusive granddaughter of full sister to Penelope Leprevost’s Olympic champion, Flora de Mariposa. And the alluring filly Cedre van Mander Z, bred out of sister to Olympic & European Championship bronze medalist Iron Dames Dubai du Cedre!
