Three horses from Paul Schockemöhle's stable took the top three places in last weekend's CSI5* 1.60m GNP Grand Prix of Monterrey, at Club Hipico La Silla in Mexico, proving that they have found their “perfect match” in their riders.
Contendros 2 wins sovereignly
The former PSI auction horse Contendros 2 (Contendro I – Diaspora – Drosselklang II), ridden by Andres Azcarraga, won the 5* Grand Prix in Monterrey last Sunday. The pair took the win after two great clear rounds.
Odense Odeveld and Casquo Blue complete the podium
Two other horses from PS Stable also landed on the podium: Odense Odeveld (Diamant de Semilly – Firenze Odeveld – Querlybet Hero), ridden by Emanuele Camilli, secured second place. Casquo Blue (Chacco-Blue – Whizz Kid – Carthago), bred by Paul Schockemöhle's Gestüt Lewitz and presented by Harry Charles, rounded off the brilliant result with a third place.
